What is a WKA Statement?
The WKA statement (Verklaring betalingsgedrag Wet Ketenaansprakelijkheid) is an official document issued by the Dutch Tax Office. It proves that a company has correctly paid wage taxes and social security contributions.
It is especially important in the construction sector, temporary work agencies, and subcontracting, as contractors may be held liable for unpaid taxes of their subcontractors.
